Kara Jean Caldwell was born in california where she lived on monica lane with a pink minnie mouse room with lots of ruffles and a canopy over her bed until she was 7. Then moving to oregon she grew up on Rainbow Lane in a room that changed colors many times. First it was blue, with a dark blue banded wave all around with light blue spirals inside that, complete with a blue tye-dye bed spread and blue beaded door curtains, they looked like raindrops. Then we had the hot pink, deep purple, electric blue and lime green walls all around, with an always changing equally exciting bright, colored, and textured pillow collection. And finally things calmed down with a nice neutral grey, the concentration turning to what is placed upon the walls instead of the colors painted on them, and of course now everything can be complimented with a soft vintage quilt.
Things are changing now at all different speeds and she is only able to live in places where the walls are no longer allowed to be painted since she does not 'own' them. Maybe in time the day will come where she can choose to paint the colors of her walls again.
